Responsible
for the programming and MIS development to support the Credit Risk management
function in the identification and evaluation of all credit risk related to the
Consumer Finance portfolios throughout Central America & the Caribbean (i.e. Personal Loans and
Sales Finance).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide
direct support within the Credit Risk Review group in the evaluation and
analysis of all consumer credit risk.
Access
and query a multitude of databases to create and maintain data sets as
appropriate.
Perform
ad-hoc analysis of consumer portfolios as directed.
Analyze
portfolio level information to identify and monitor key risk factors and
develop proposed solutions.
Perform
ad-hoc analysis of consumer portfolios as directed.
Develop
and/or evaluate various models used for loss forecasting, portfolio stress
testing, and other targeted analysis.
Report
and analyze characteristics of the Consumer Credit lines of business in
relation to policies, guidelines and processes.
Establish
close working relationships with the Credit functions of the various Consumer
Lending groups in each country, while maintaining independence/objectivity.
Monitor
and evaluate problem loan statistics.
Ensure
that appropriate reporting of activity is occurring consistent with policy
as well as pertinent accounting/regulatory guidance.
REQUIREMENTS:
2-5 years
as programmer with experience in Consumer Lending (credit origination,
collections and/or credit administration).
Computer
Skills: Strong MS SQL Server 2005/2008 including the following
technologies Reporting Services, Analysis Services, Crystal Reports,
Visual Studio.Net, Datawarehouse, OLAP, Data Mining, Integration Services, SPSS, SAS, Microsoft office:
excel, word and access.
Microsoft
Office: Excel, Word and Access, also SAS background.
