After several years of executive placement for another recruiting firm, Evelyn and Terence Ryan bought an established executive firm in 1987. RYAN applies its computerized database of over 40,000 hand-selected resumes classified according to position, compensation, and industry. The search begins with candidates from companies comparable to the client organization, similar industries and related fields. Using our database and experience, the process is then customized for each company and position. In addition, RYAN consultants’ strong network and knowledge of the employment market identifies key candidates in a relatively short period of time. The position is posted on our website, using the worldwide web and all other necessary resources to identify the most qualified candidates. RYAN guarantees the utmost confidentiality and discretion in our searches. RYAN’S interview process is characterized by objectivity, integrity and confidentiality. As a result our consultants and supporting team invest significant time and effort with each candidate. Our consultants use each job description to prepare the interviews according to the Targeted Selection process, and/or the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and Wonderlic Tests. RYAN’S consultants evaluate a candidates’ education, position experience and personality traits without losing focus of the company culture. The candidate not only meets the professional requirements but also ensures a proper fit. The Targeted Selection interview process has proven to accurately predict an applicant’s performance. The value of this technique is exemplified by its’ use in multinational worldwide Fortune 500 companies. RYAN interviews may also include the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Wonderlic Personality Tests, which evaluate the candidate’s strengths, potential, achievements and overall suitability for the organization. RYAN conducts thorough reference checks, arranges drug tests, psychological tests and credit reports as per client’s request. All of the above support our selection process and help provide fast and reliable results. Once the interviews are completed, we evaluate the information we have acquired and present three or four candidates whose qualifications best match the position and culture of the company. RYAN then coordinates client/candidate interviews, which can be held in our conference room or our client’s office. She has over 25 years experience in executive recruiting, was past president and a founding member of the PR Chapter of the American Marketing Association and is a designated writer of the Sunday Employment section of El Nuevo Día and The San Juan Star. She is also a Board Member of JIP (The Private Industry Board of San Juan). In 1988 she was the recipient of the Top Management Award by the Association of Sales & Marketing Executives for managerial excellence in the area of services. In 1996 and again in 1998, media and industry selected her as the Leading Woman in Managerial Excellence in the area of Human Resources Services. Terence L. Ryan, President and Senior Consultant manages the Sales and Marketing division and recruits top management positions. He has a Baccalaureate degree in Business Administration and over 20 years of experience as an executive consultant. Elisa Favale, CPC, Partner and Senior Consultant, manages the Finance and Accounting division and recruits top and middle management. She has a Baccalaureate degree in Psychology and over 27 years of experience. Madeline Figueroa, Partner and Senior Consultant, manages the Human Resource and Manufacturing top and middle management divisions. She handles our special projects, holds a Masters in Psychology and is a licensed Psychologist with over 13 years of experience as an executive consultant. Mildred Oliveras, Senior IS & Engineering Consultant, recruits top and middle technical personnel for Information Systems, Manufacturing and Engineering. She has a Baccalaureate degree in Psychology and over 13 years of recruiting experience Because of their knowledge in recruitment techniques and personal attention,our consultants visit our clients as per their requests and classify the job orders according to the area of expertise. We guarantee our services for 90 days for middle-level management. Upper-level management may be guaranteed for up to one year. Hence, if the candidate leaves or is dismissed for a valid reason, we shall replace him/her free of additional expenses within the specific area of expertise. RYAN honors an “Off Limits” policy from personnel raiding of our exclusive clients for a period of one year or more from the date of the last placement. Exclusive clients are defined as those clients who use our recruiting services exclusively and continually.
